Corn Bowl
Corn is a recurring theme as it represents the main food stuff for Native Americans in the North East. Fields were cleared and large numbers of acres were planted. Seed was removed from the husks and buried in the ground to provide food for the winter and seed for the next year's planting. Design was wood burned then colored. Created: 2007. Private Collection.
