This is a simple and handsome rattle. The 3 1/2" diameter gourd head features two wood burned feathers separated by an abstract design and woodland curves. The rich stained black area is repeated in the colored antler handle. A simple handle covering of deer hide accented by two small braids makes this a great piece. Sound is still a bit soft because seeds have not totally released, but some beads have been added to help the process.
